This is the story of my purchase from Shandong Bailiyuan Steel Pipe Manufacturing Co.,ltd and how I was scammed by these criminals.
This page is made with the only intention of preventing others from making the same mistake as me.
 

I met Bailiyuan Steel Pipe Manufacturing Co.,ltd through Alibaba, with very good reviews, years of experience and also a manufacturer approved by Alibaba.

I have trusted Alibaba for years, I do not understand how Alibaba let itself be fooled by these thieves.

Anyway, I did my research on the internet. Bailiyuan Steel Pipe Manufacturing Co is registered in countless listings on dedicated websites. It gave the impression of being an established company without problems.

I made my first contact through the Alibaba chat, where I spoke with a person who identified herself as Jane. She spoke perfect English, in addition to having good knowledge of the products I requested. Her responses were quick and precise. Nothing that would make you suspicious.

Bailiyuan Steel processes steel in its facilities. They offer sheets and tubes of different shapes, thicknesses. alloys and tempers.
In addition, they also trade copper, brass and aluminum. In all possible varieties.

Also customizations to adjust to the client's needs.

The prices are good, but adjusted to reality. The attraction of this company is the possibility of supplying everything we needed in a single negotiation. Steel , Copper, Brass al Aluminum in all alloys, temper and shapes we need.

 
So what happened?

I made first contact on July 12, 2023.
Ask for prices and samples. I asked for photos and videos of the plant.
Everything was answered immediately and convincingly.

This is the Proforma Invoice, A combination of 18 tons of tubes and sheets, made of copper, aluminum and steel.

We made the payments according to the agreed conditions. Again they were asked for photos and videos of the manufacturing processes, quality certificates and final products. With which they fully complied.

Once the deadlines were met, they sent the commercial invoice, packing list and B/L.

They shipped the container on September 9, 2023.
The container arrived at our port in mid-November and at our facilities on November 21, 2023.

Kilograms were missing from the order of steel sheets.
Kilograms of brass and copper tubes were missing from the order.
Nothing arrived from the order for aluminum sheets.

The container seal number was correct.
The number of packages in the container were complete according to the packing list.
The packages were closed and intact.
But the net weight received was below that reflected in the B/L.
 
 
We immediately filed a complaint with Jane via email.
Their responses over the next few days were:
 

"It's unbelievable. What happened?
Let me collected all information and sent to our workshop for checking.
We will reply to you later."
 

"Our company is very shocked at what you described in below emails.
We have collected the information and sent to our workshop for checking.
We will reply to you later."

Her response via Alibaba chat was:
"We will reply to you after holidays(weekend)"
